Principal

As the principal of the school, it fills me with immense pride to witness our students embark on yet another enriching journey through CyberFair. This annual endeavor is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of knowledge, innovation, and the power of collaboration. Year after year, I have seen our students rise to the challenge, and this time was no exception. With great enthusiasm, our students were divided into groups, each guided by dedicated members of our teaching faculty. These mentors did not merely supervise; they inspired, challenged, and nurtured the young minds under their care. Every group became a hub of ideas, where curiosity sparked discussions, and creativity knew no bounds.

As a mentor, I saw the magic of facilitated learning, collective research, and innovative digital storytelling. The theme challenged our students to explore relevant subjects more deeply, and it was heartwarming to guide them through each step—from conception to delivery. Our research experience contributed significant value by enhancing our knowledge and refining content authenticity.

Middle wing coordinator & English Educator

As the middle wing coordinator, my role extended beyond mere supervision—I was the guiding force, the anchor that ensured seamless coordination among teams. Over the years, our school’s participation in this project has been a testament to our dedication and commitment to learning. With each passing year, I have eagerly awaited the revelation of a new theme, knowing that it would challenge us to think, explore, and create beyond conventional boundaries. This year was no different. As the theme was announced, a surge of excitement filled me. I quickly set out to assemble my team, handpicking individuals who brought a unique blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and passion for research. However, our mission was not confined to our team alone. We fostered collaboration with other teams involved in the project, working hand in hand to refine and elevate the research into a more structured and impactful form.

Participating in the International Cyber Fair was an enriching experience that provided valuable insights into collaborative learning, technical development, and project-based education. As a computer teacher and mentor of the technical team, I guided students in building a website that showcased their research on various community-related topics, integrating technology with social awareness. I mentored students in web development, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX principles. Teaching them coding, debugging, and content structuring helped enhance their problem-solving abilities and creativity. Students conducted in-depth research on community issues, learning to gather, analyze, and present data effectively. This process refined their critical thinking and ethical research skills.

Cyber Fair was an incredible opportunity to explore Haywood Farms and its role in sustainable agriculture. Our research focused on organic farming, farm-to-table practices, and the farm’s impact on the local economy. Visiting the farm and engaging with experts gave students firsthand insights into eco-friendly farming methods and their benefits. Despite challenges like coordinating visits and gathering authentic data, the experience was truly enriching.

Organizing a Nukkad Natak (Street Play) on the topic of Community and Business was an enriching learning experience for the students and me as a teacher. It was not merely about performance but also about developing critical life skills and social consciousness. One of the major takeways was the strength of experiential learning. The street plays provide an interactive and engaging learning platform where the students take part in an active manner, which renders the lessons more effective. I saw that students learned concepts such as entrepreneurship, ethical business, and welfare of the community better through this compared to conventional ways of teaching.

. Being a part of this project I learned a lot of new skills and had a great experience. It had taught me the value of time, money and resources. I personally think that I would have never known how our government and organizations are trying to reduce waste and making it reusable. It was very great being involved in this project and learn leadership skills and adaptability with the team. I’m grateful to know how much India and its people are reusing materials to reduce plastic or any other type of pollution for the upcoming generations.

I gained a lot of knowledge and skills. I gained a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of local handicraft stores and their role in promoting regional artisans. I learned about the positive impact of tourism on local economies and communities. I realized the value of partnering with local tour operators and attending cultural events to promote community interaction. Initially, I was unaware of the various local handicraft stores and their contributions to the community, but after understanding and researching online, going through different websites, it made my mind clear with topic. It was a challenge finding and hunting for the business helping tourism, but with the team work I made it though.
